FAQs
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely, we encourage everyone to bring a friend, family member or children. Please make sure they sign up online as well.
Every child below 16 needs a parent or legal guardian present.
How long does the clean up last?
Our clean ups last generally 1 - 2 hours, although you do not need to stay the entire time, we will have a UOcean® Team Member on site to take back the equipment if you have to rush off for a birthday or shopping trip. We are flexible.
How much do your events cost?
Our public events are completely FREE to the general public, as a registered charity, we rely on public donations, grants and sponsored events to cover our costs, so please feel free to donate to us if you can or sponsor an event.
Every little bit helps.
Do I need to bring equipment?
No, all you need to is bring yourself, a smile and a great attitude. We will lend you everything you need as long as you have signed up online and received a confirmation email.
Can we book a team day or corporate day clean up with you?
Yes, absolutely, we work with small businesses to corporate companies on team days and corporate days, raising awareness of ocean plastics.

Are you events COVID-19 safe?
We try our best, our events are all held outdoors in fresh air, we maintain social distancing measures and sanitise all our equipment pre-event.
Are your staff DBS checked?
Yes, our entire UOcean Team are DBS checked and character referenced.
